Last October, we gathered for the College Hill Transportation Safety Project Ribbon Cutting.

The ribbon cutting was the culmination of two years of partnership between Devou Good Foundation and the City of Cincinnati Department of Transportation & Engineering (DOTE) and the College Hill Forum Community Council.  

Following Complete Streets and NATCO design guidelines, transportation safety countermeasures were designed and installed along Hamilton Avenue from North Bend Road to Hollywood Avenue and North Bend Road between Simpson Avenue and Hempwood Avenue.

Join community advocates for a panel discussion on the transformative College Hill safety project at Esoteric Brewing Co. on Thursday, January 18th at 6:30 PM.

We’re looking forward to cutting the ribbon on the transportation safety project with the College Hill Neighborhood. Join us October 28th at 10 AM as we remember those injured and killed by traffic violence, celebrate everyone who made this day possible, and hear from leaders on how to accomplish similar traffic calming projects across the city. Let’s build a safe and happy future for all residents—especially our most vulnerable neighbors.
